Horizontal 5-Axis Machining Center
The HS1400 is designed for the precise 5-axis machining of large and complex structural components as well as demanding parts made from materials that are difficult to machine. The highly rigid T-structure, the ribbed machine bed and the directly driven A and B axes support high machining stability and precise 5-axis movements. High precision optical Heidenhain measuring systems on all five axes as well as the powerful HSK100A spindle complement the machine concept for demanding machining tasks, especially in the aerospace sector.
